This was the first tournament success of the year for Jennifer (the second of her younger career), against the world
number one Monica Seles, in a in third-set tie-break. This match was the youngest Tour final in Open Era (combined age
of 33 years).

Final's report
In first set, Jennifer lost her first serve and went down 0-2. The 4th game is really long and Jennifer had many
chances, but she lost it. On 2-3 she broke back and in the next game she went up 30-0 before lost the next 4 points
in a row and lost again the serve (3-4). On 4-5 Seles served for the set and won it.
The second set was really easy for Jennifer, who won 6-1.
In final set Jennifer went up a break (5-3) and served for the match on 5-4; but she lost the game and Seles recovered
and went up 5-6 in the score. Jennifer is forced to serve to stay in the match and she was able to do that, after a very
long game without concede any break-point.
In the final tie-break Jennifer played well and she was really focused on her game. She won the last 5 points in a
row and won it 7-2.
