Note

Following one of my biggest dreams, at the beginning of 2012 I'm going to leave for Australia with a one-year Working-Holiday Visa.
I'll try to keep this website updated, even though it's not going to be easy, since I will not be able to connect to the Internet as often as I do now.
I created a blog about my experience in Down Under, which I called '... destination Australia'. If you're interested, check it out!!!
  ... destination Australia

I also want to let you know that I will no longer sell Jennifer's DVDs, since I won't be able to take to Australia all that I need in order to da that. The 'DVD Store' section will be available again at the beginning of 2013.

News:  Jennifer to play an exhibition match in March
Posted by LAURA  |  february, 1st 2012

Jennifer, along with Monica Seles, Mary Joe Fernandez and Martina Navratilova, is rumored to be coming to the shores of The Bahamas to play in an exhibition doubles match, during the ITF $100,000 tournament, The Bahamas Women’s Tennis Open. The exhibition will be played on March 11 at 4:00 p.m. local time, just before the official opening ceremony, on Centre Court of the National Tennis Centre in Nassau, Bahamas.
Executive Director, Ty Olander said: “We know that tennis fans from around the world are very interested to see them – Monica Seles, Jennifer Capriati, Mary Joe Fernandez and Martina Navratilova. They have never played together when they were on the tour, so now we have four of the greatest tennis female players of all-time coming together to The Bahamas to play, together. That in itself is exciting and will be a real treat to all".

On 26 January, 2002 Jennifer defeated Hingis in the Australian Open final and she won her 3rd career major. I create a short tribute-video to recall the moment and celebrate the 10th anniversary of her triumph.
The song is "Honor" by Hans Zimmer.

Unfortunately, I found out that Jennifer pulled out of the tournament after her first match, because of shoulder pain.
Thomas Neuert filled in for her, and they lost 4-8 against Jimmy Arias and Chanda Rubin.

In the 1st round of the exhibition event 'KPMG Legends tennis' at Cayman Islands, Jennifer and Stephen Huss went past the team Kops/Neuert, scored an 8-7 win.
Jennifer, who wore a pink Adidas outfit, looks fit and seems having lots of fun.
Unfortunately, I don't know which couple they're going to face in the semifinals, because I couldn't find any information on the Internet. They're going to play the second or the fourth match today (the first one is scheduled at 6pm local time).
Here's the other results: Arias/Rubin D Harrison/Bayley 8-3, Fisher/Harkleroad D S. Capriati/Sequera 8-3, Hingis/Philippoussis D Berry/Bonikowski 8-3.
I added a short video of the match, which I had found on YouTube.
