08/12/'06  Jennifer belongings being auctioned on eBay  -  Jennifer is not quite ready for the courts at the moment, but she appears to be taking a stab at e-commerce, with cyber superstore eBay auctioning a variety of her possessions. Although the auctions are not set up by the three-time Grand Slam champion herself, they claim to be selling the items on her behalf.
The seller has five Louis Vuitton handbags and a Louis Vuitton belt said to belong to the former world No. 1. There's also a pair of Tod's boots. The auctioneer also states that a "personalized, signed" photograph of Capriati will be given to the auction winners.

More on the Iva Maojli wedding, which will be held on the last Saturday of the US Open: Jennifer Capriati and Mary Pierce will be bridesmaids (if Pierce doesn't reach the Open final) and Goran Ivanisevic will also attend. 01/04/'06  The latest news on Jennifer  -  Jennifer was a guest at the ESPN, during the Miami event on March, the 30th. In the interview, she has declared that she had 4 surgeries: two on the right shoulder and two on the right wrist. She had problems after the first two surgeries and she was forced to underwent two more surgeries. Jennifer said that she want to comeback because it is pain for her to see the others matches. But she said also that it isn't under her control.

22/01/'06  Jennifer's words  -  Finally, the day before yesterday, Jennifer has told about her and about the rumours of the last days. She said that she has no plans to play Miami. "It's not true that I'm hitting and planning to play Miami," she told. "I am still working on rehab and expect to return to tennis, I have no plans on giving up!"

12/01/'06  What about Jennifer?  -  We don't have many news on Jennifer's condition and on what she has done in this period, right now. So I want try to resume all that we know. On January, the 27th of 2005, Jennifer underwent successful arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn labrum in her right shoulder. No timetable was given for her return to the WTA Tour. On March of the same year, Jennifer withdrawn from Indian Wells and Miami events. Her goal was to comeback for the US Open and she committed to New Haven; but she cannot recovered and she was forced to pulled out of Pilot Pen. Jennifer tried to return before the end of the season and she also committed to Linz tournament, but she was forced to withdraws from it, too. In the last months there were many rumours about her, but we didn't know if they're true. In November, the USA reporter Charles Bricker wrote that Jennifer has started to play at the Saddlebrook academy; but only a week later, Matt Cronin (another journalist) wrote that she hasn't start to hit the ball yet. Someone told that Jennifer had a second surgery on her right shoulder and about a wrist one. Then there were some rumours that Jenny was practising all over Florida - Saddlebrook, Key Biscane and West Palm Beach. I don't know if or how many of these news are true (maybe we'll know it only from Jennifer's mouth), the only certainty is that there aren't any news on the date of her comeback on the tour. Surely, she did not play the Australian Open; she should come back in Doha or Dubai, or she should wait until March and play the TierI tournaments of Indian Wells and Miami. When she'll come back, she get a protected ranking of number 10 for a maximum of 6 tournaments. Jen is an extremely private person and has never been a media whore. I think that if Jennifer wants to play anymore, we know it yet.
