14/04/'12 Jennifer sarà inserita nella Hall of Fame - E' notizia di ieri che Jennifer entrerà a far parte
della Hall of Fame del tennis, il più alto riconoscimento alla carriera di un tennista.
"I am thrilled to learn that I have been elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame. This is a dream come true and an extraordinary tribute. I love this game
and am incredibly honored by the Hall of Fame's vote. Tennis has been my passion and dedication for my entire life, and to be acknowledged for this passion and
dedication is truly icing on the cake. Finally, to all of my fans: You mean so much to me. I am, and have always been, blessed
beyond words by your support both during and after my playing days. You unquestionably made this game so memorable for me and I miss you all so much. I can't wait to
go to Newport to express my sincere appreciation to my fans, and celebrate with them, my family, my coaches, and everyone else in the tennis community. Thank you all
from the bottom of my heart. I truly feel humbled to be a part of history and am honored to be considered among the greatest of all time", ha dichiarato Jen.

24/02/'12 Jennifer rinuncia all'esibizione alle Bahamas - Purtroppo, Jennifer è stata costretta a rinunciare
all'esibizione alla Bahamas a causa di un problema alla spalla ed è stata sostituita da Zina Garrison.

Fernandez e Martina Navratilova, dovrebbe giocare un'esibizione di doppio alle Bahamas, in occasione del torneo ITF femminile da $100,000, The Bahamas Women’s Tennis
Open. L'esibizione si svolgerà l'11 marzo alle 16 ora locale (le 22 in Italia), appena prima della cerimonia inaugurale del torneo, sul campo centrale del National
Tennis Centre a Nassau, Bahamas.
Il Direttore Esecutivo, Ty Olander ha dichiarato: “We know that tennis fans from around the world are very interested to see them – Monica Seles, Jennifer Capriati,
Mary Joe Fernandez and Martina Navratilova. They have never played together when they were on the tour, so now we have four of the greatest tennis female players of
all-time coming together to The Bahamas to play, together. That in itself is exciting and will be a real treat to all".
